
It’s no surprise to many of us that world hunger is a major problem – but the true extent of the problem may be more shocking than you realise. According to a recent infographic produced by Red Anywhere, hunger is the world’s number one health risk, killing more people every year than malaria, aids and TB combined.
Other interesting stats from the infographic are the 5 million children die every year in developing countries from malnutrition, and that an incredible 870 million people worldwide do not have enough food to eat (with 98% of those living in developing countries).
