The worldwide population is getting older, and this is trend that is set to continue for a long time to come. The ‘baby boomer’ generation is now getting older, and this is causing healthcare problems around the world. In less developed countries, especially China, this is set to cause enormous problems, as healthcare systems are just not designed to cope with this. However, designers everywhere are beginning to tackle this problem, and there are a huge amount of new products coming to the market aimed at the over 60s.
