I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for infographics about comic book characters and superheroes, which I suppose reveals a little more about my inner nerd than perhaps I’m comfortable with. One problem with them though is they’re often poorly researched or make definitive statements based on very little in the way of evidence, not to mention I’ve seen some that are appallingly designed.

I was pleased then to come across this infographic from LifeQuotes4U, which is not only very nicely designed but actually seems to be based on fairly solid research. Sure you can argue whether or not the data is actually right (after all we probably all have our own opinions on which superheroes would live longest), but the picks they’ve made are reasoned and based on the official back-stories of characters, as well as on stories from their comics:
